There's not many things better in life than a good panasonic electric shaver. Let's face it, you're going to be shaving every single day for the rest of your life, sometimes twice a day - getting the right shaver can turn your day around, start you out on the right foot, and just make life a little bit easier.
The problem is, there so many of them out there that it can be difficult to choose the right one, heck it can be downright confusing. It's easy to overspend and get the wrong shaver and that's what I hope to help you avoid today. I'm going to discuss several of the main lines available from Panasonic, discuss the different options available for each one, and talk to you about price and where you get the best deals.
So what can you expect from Panasonic? I'm going to talk about for main Panasonic shavers which represents a range of prices from low-end to high-end. I'm going to to start with the Panasonic ES4026NC Pro Curve Rechargeable Double Blade Wet/Dry Men's Shaver, then the Panasonic ES8043SC Pro-Curve Pivot Action Linear Wet/Dry Shaver, then the Panasonic ES8077S Vortex Hydraclean System, and end with the Panasonic ES8249S Arc IV Nanotech Vortex Wet/Dry Rechargeable Shaver. So let's get right to it!
Panasonic ES4026NC Pro Curve Rechargeable Double Blade Wet/Dry Men's Shaver. This is the entry-level electric shaver at around $22 it's a nice entry-level model. It contains independent floating double heads that are supposed to follow the facial contours and provide you a clean close shave. It has a pop-up trimmer to groom your mustache or sideburns and allows you to shave either wet with lather or dry, whichever you prefer.
Panasonic ES8043SC Pro-Curve Pivot Action Linear Wet/Dry Shaver is a good solid shaver and cost around $85. It has independently floating triple heads and counter directional inner blades that allow you to shave either wet or dry. It boasts the sharpest blades in the industry at 30 degrees. The pivoting head rotates from side to side but also each head floats independently up and down which is supposed to give you the closest shave in the industry, though I'm not exactly sure how they determined that!
Panasonic ES8077S Vortex Hydraclean System the next model in the series will run you around $120 which puts it squarely in the middle of the category. It contains an adjustable pivot action head that moves with the contours of your face, and a powerful hygienic cleaning system that's supposed to automatically clean and dry after you use it! The shaver comes with a high-speed linear motor that clocks in at 13,000 RPM and will work both wet and dry.
Panasonic ES8249S Arc IV Nanotech Vortex Wet/Dry Rechargeable Shaver. At around $150 this is the top range model in the series. It contains four nano tech blades with arc foil that gives a large cutting surface and has uniform 1-Pass shaving. It contains a Hydra Clean system that's supposed to automatically clean with hygienic infused water and then dry itself. It has pivoting heads that rock up and down as well as back-and-forth to follow the contours of your face closely. It also contains independently floating triple heads with counter directional inner blades which are amazing. You will also come to love the one-hour quick charge and the five minute emergency charge.
Whichever Panasonic electric shaver you eventually go with, I'm sure you'll be happy with it for years and years to come. There's nothing better than having a shaver that you can depend on day after day to start your day out on the right foot and get things moving right along.
